RE.A.L Research Analysis Lab is a highly innovative and self-contained research unit that resides at the Dept. of Engineering Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Western Macedonia.
RE.A.L was established in 2011 and is co-ordinated by Dr. Dimitrios G. Tsalikakis Lecturer of “Modeling and Analysis of Biomedical Data” at the Dept. of Engineering Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Western Macedonia and staffed with qualified scientists, researchers and other IT personnel. RE.A.L group goals are to advance and sustain basic research in both theoretical and application problems whose fundamentals lie in the intersection of various fields of engineering and applied sciences such as mathematical models, simulation and modeling, signal processing, image processing, communications and informatics and whose applications span domains like artificial intelligence, biomedical technology, cognitive sciences, knowledge technology and intelligent systems.
